- Substitution ( using the clothing/accessory colors to substitute the Dominican Flag, using my cousin as a substitution/ self reflection of myself looking up on how I grew up and remembering those memories of growing up in my home)
-Cultural/ Heritage ( wearing a white dress with red/blue accessories is a referenced to the white dresses that have a gradient of red/blue on the bottom that is often seen on ladies within Dominican festivals)
- Family/Connection ( using my cousin as my model for family, representing my strong bond that I have family/ history )
- History ( use of Dominican history behind the outfit choice, but also remembering my history growing up with family and at my home)
- Growth/ Remembrance ( Looking up at the cherry tree symbolizes growth and remembrance, mostly for within my home while growing up with my family ( and seeing my younger cousin growing up from a little girl to a women, another reason why i choose her as my model)
