“Photographs furnish evidence. Something we hear about, but doubt, seems proven when we're shown a photograph of it.”
This quote speaks to me because it is very true. When people tell me they’ve been to a concert or went on a vacation the first thing I ask is to see pictures. I believe that it is easier to see things instead of trying to imagine them. Susan describes photographs as evidence, if someone were to tell me they saw Drake walking down Bleeker street I wouldn’t believe them unless I saw a picture. I took a picture of my friend carrying a chair over her head. It is easier to believe because there is a picture of it, evidence.
